The elephant in the room

Yes. Barbers Point Flight School’s purpose is to provide flight training services and not air tours. We’ve been training professional pilots since 2010 but every now and then, our flight instructors appreciate a little change. Teaching students is stressful but flying tours around Oahu is not! and our instructors welcome the chance to go up and actually enjoy the scenery for a change and they get to accumulate flight hours towards their Airline Transport Pilot license.

All BPFS flight instructors are commercial pilots and they are also FAA certified flight instructors. Rest assured our pilots are good and safety is always their number one priority. BPFS also has the newest aircraft fleet of any flight school in the islands. Our tour aircraft have the latest and greatest next generation cockpits for safety and comfort and our aircraft are well maintained by top notch mechanics who wrench with one thing in mind; Safety!

Enjoy your flight!

The Tecnam P2010 - Italian made beauty!

The Tecnam P2010 is a next generation aircraft with composite materials and an all glass cockpit called the Garmin G-1000. You can tell this aircraft was manufactured in Italy because of its pretty lines. It boasts a first in its class rear door for passengers, very much simplifying the boarding process. Its new wing design and rear stabilator ensures a comfortable ride and especially helps to defeat turbulence when around mountainous areas. Enjoy our air tour around the island of Oahu, slow and low, just like it should be.
