Brake Lines

Cracked brake lines inhibit you from stopping. Pretty important!

When getting in and out of aircraft, it’s important to ensure your foot/feet are placed on the lower strut-step and not on the sheet metaled leading or trailing edges. The lower strut supports the strut-step and shrounds the brake lines that run along the steel tubular landing gear. The sheet metal is not a step. Damage to brake lines will occur either during an isolated event or over time.
