Tecnam P2006 NG Sport

You’ve remained disciplined, have been applying yourself and have been flying regularly. Next step Commercial Rating. Fantastic! This is the last rating you’ll need for a while as you fly your way toward fifteen-hundred hours, your ATP and a flying job! Can you feel the pride of your ATP Rating in your pocket? Great! It will be worth all the of the sacrifices you’re making!

Our CPL course will take you from an instrument rated pilot to a commercially rated pilot. You now have good muscle memory and the act of flying the airplane straight-and-level is an afterthought. You’re developing great situational awareness and you understand the significance of staying well ahead of your flight plan. Stay hungry! The prize is just around the corner.

Now you’re on your way to proficiency! In this phase, be prepared for the following prerequisites and spending:

  • By now you should have at least 150 hours. Keep disciplined and start aiming for 100 hours of pilot-in-command time as you brawl your way to the elusive 250 hour mark. Remember that 50 hours of “dual” simulated flight time can be applied toward a CPL. Cha-Ching.

  • Complete day/night cross country time requirements, you should be really close.

  • It’s likely you’re still need a little one-on-one time with your instructor. You’ll be in the cockpit alone a lot more so get with your instructor and do some ground if you need it.

  • You will once again be required to take a proctored exam for the CPL rating. The cost of an exam will still very likely be $175.00. BPFS is an FAA Approved Testing Ceter.

  • So how’s the new headset? Bose? You’ll be purchasing just a bit more study materials and you’re probably celebrating with some technical swag. You deserve it!
